Air leaks are a concern for anyone operating a compressed air system. The average plant with no formal leak management program will have air leaks that waste up to 30 percent of the total air capacity. These leaks are caused by pipe work connections, damaged or missing o-ring, leaking condensate drains, improperly connected hoses and many other factors.
The Air-Saver is installed on the air piping that comes out of a receiver tank. It can be programmed to automatically open just prior to the start of a work shift and close just after the end of the work shift. This shuts your receiver tank off from the rest of your air system during off hours which eliminates air loss while you are not working.
